As part of the IB program, students participate in extracurriculars that relate to the three fields of CAS; creativity, action, and service. Creativity can be anything from playing an instrument to acting in a play, while action relates to physical activity such as joining a sports team. Finally, service relates to helping your community in a variety of ways. Some examples of service are tutoring children or volunteering at a homeless shelter.

Students participating in the IB program are also required to create a project that fulfills at least one field of CAS. Our project, Feline Good, was started with the intention to help cats and the people they live around, which counts as service. We have also spent a lot of time thinking of designs for our masks and different ways to attract attention to our project, which fulfills the creativity area of CAS.
